SOLO A Star Wars Story Is SO LOW? What Happened?

WOW! This is interesting! It looks like SOLO A Star Wars Story has a strong chance of NOT breaking the $100 million US dollar barrier.

First of all, I'm not a big Star Wars fan but I do like watching the movies specially the original trilogy. The prequel trilogy was okay, at best, but it was no where near the original.

I did see The Force Awakens and liked it, I guess because of nostalgia. I also watched Rogue One and The Last Jedi and I liked Rogue One but not The Last Jedi, sadly.

As for SOLO A Star Wars Story, well, I have no plans of seeing it and, it looks like, not a lot of people are seeing it as well because, according to Box Office Mojo, the movie is estimated to get $83.3 million US dollars over the three-day weekend.

WOW! That is below the over $170 million US dollar estimate that was reported a couple of weeks ago. So, what happened to SOLO? Why didn't Star Wars fans went out to see this movie?

My guess is, Star Wars fans are just fed up and tired of what Disney/Lucas Films are doing with Star Wars. Fans were not happy with The Last Jedi but, instead of appeasing the fans, Disney/Lucas Films ignored them.

So, what happens when you don't listen or ignore your fans? Well, they respond by not giving you their money and I guess that's what's happening right now with SOLO A Star Wars Story.

Of course, the official Box Office numbers will appear on Monday or Tuesday but I don't think it will go beyond $100 million based on the 3 day estimate.

If it goes over $100 million US dollars then good for them because, with a $300 million US dollar price tag, they'll need every bit of dollar they can get.
